The Way of the Future Is Sustainability
Ang Hill is an ethical and sustainable brand. We care about the planet and people. We recognize the importance of sustainability and ethics and believe that this is the future for fashion.
We are transparent about our manufacturing processes. We are a small brand and are proud to be part of the slow fashion movement.
All of our original pieces are made by hand in small batches and many pieces are made to order to eliminate excess inventory.
We have a small team of local seamstresses that are paid and treated fairly. We also utilize a local ethical Edmonton factory to create some of our pieces.
All pieces are made with high quality fabrics and meticulously constructed to last decades.
Many of our pieces are made from sustainable fabrics including: Bamboo terry, bamboo jersey knit, tencel and cotton.
All of our fabrics are OEKO-TEX certified meaning that no harmful dies were used during production. All of our fabrics are purchased from Canadian fabric supply companies.
These companies source their fabrics globally from certified textile mills.
Our packaging is planet-friendly. Mailers for small items are paper-based and can be recycled curbside.
Larger items are shipped using compostable poly mailers or cardboard boxes.
We limit unnecessary packaging materials and are continuously researching ways to be more planet-friendly.
